My photo in local newspaper

Updated: Jan 9

My small achivement from earlier this month is that my photo of Memorial Garden was included in Tameside Magazine.

Here is my original photograph I have taken in October, when all trees were painted in autumn colours yet. Can`t imagine this place without those trees around.

In more words to introduce this place above, it is War Memorial Garden that is Grate II listed historical monument and on the National Heritage List for England, with outstanding greenery. It is located in Ashton under Lyne (Tameside), Greater Manchester.

It is also wonderful place to stop for a while and take a moment to sit and rest.

Surrounded by great trees and shrubs is often visited by local community. The most impressive is two lions on each site of the monument.

The monument has a panel of the names of those who sacrificed their lives in Great War.

Have you seen historical place near you surrounded by beautiful trees or shrubs? Tell me about it in the comments below.
