White Cliffs of Dover

White Cliffs of Dover for centuries were the first sight of England for many travellers. The cliffs were formed in ice - age from layers of pulverized skeletons of sea plants, that were deposited on the bottom of the ocean.

I made this photograph in summer last year. The landmark chalk cliffs are magnificent with plenty of spectacular view points and walk paths.

White Cliffs of Dover - by me

The whisper of the wind, the sound of the sea give you the happiness of just existing.
